Complaint against a CCR&R Agency

Each of the 10 Child Care and Referral agencies has been Quality Assured through NACCRRA’s Child Care Aware®. We strive to meet our goals through excellent verbal, face-to-face, and written interactions. If at any time a person has a complaint against CCR&R, they may contact the agency in their area and speak to a supervisor. We will make every effort to improve our services based on valid complaints. If you are still not satisfied with the response you receive, you may contact the Child Development Bureau at 271-8167.

Complaint against a Child Care Provider

If you have a question or concern about a provider’s policy or actions, you may call your local CCR&R agency to discuss the issue or report your complaint. The agency will record your complaint against the provider in its database.

If the complaint seems to be a violation of Child Care Licensing Regulations, you will be strongly encouraged to report your concerns to the Bureau of Child Care Licensing (BCCL). They will handle your concern from there. A CCR&R agency cannot make a report on your behalf since it is not first-hand knowledge. If the concern is a matter of child abuse or neglect, you should report your concern to the Child Abuse Hotline at 1-800-894-5533.

Licensed providers may be removed from the referral list at their own request, if their license is suspended or revoked, or if an advisory committee determines that the provider should be removed for the safety and well-being of children.
