Preschool Technical Assistance Network (PTAN)
PTAN is a statewide technical assistance and support network that promotes quality, developmentally appropriate and culturally competent early care and education programs for New Hampshires young children with special needs and their families. It is a project of the Southeastern Regional Education Service Center (SERESC), a non-profit education collaborative in Bedford, NH. SERESC is located at 29 Commerce Drive, Bedford, NH 03110. [Directions] PTAN offers child care providers individualized consultation and support to help them maintain children with challenging behaviors and/or special needs. Consultation provided by caring professionals within the provider's region with expertise specific to the providers needs.

Rockingham Community Action

Strafford County Community Action Committee
Strafford County Community Action Committee, Inc. (SCCAC) is committed to ensuring that the basic needs of low-income and disadvantaged individuals and families are met, while promoting personal responsibility and self-sufficiency. We believe that everyone has the right to basic necessities of life such as food, housing, utilities, health care, quality child care, and an adequate income.SCCAC also believes that all people regardless of income deserve to live with dignity and self-respect.

White Mountains Community College Child Care Resource, Referral, Recruitment, and Training
Child Care Resource, Referral, Recruitment, and Training is located at White Mountains Community College, 2020 Riverside Drive, Berlin, New Hampshire, but its concentration is throughout Coos and northern Grafton Counties. We offer free and confidential referrals to any family searching for child care; in addition we provide information about the different types of child care available, quality indicators, and the guidelines for public subsidies. Another service we provide is free trainings for both parent and child care providers. Our goals are to improve the quality of early childhood care and education, while also recruiting new child care providers to fill the unmet needs of parents in northern New Hampshire. We also work collaboratively with other community agencies in hopes of providing a continuum of care for families with young children in northern New Hampshire.

NAEYC is committed to becoming an increasingly high performing and inclusive organization.

The Child Care and Early Education Research Connections
The Child Care and Early Education Research Connections creates an infrastructure that allows for collaborative research, analysis, and information-sharing among researchers, policymakers, and other key stakeholders; serves as a repository of child care research and data through a Web-based archive; and develops and disseminates materials that are designed to improve child care policy research, as well as synthesize findings for policymakers.
